I consider myself lucky to enjoy what I do for work.
But when you are passionate, new project syndrome is real. You always want to build things and sometimes you lack execution, skill, or understanding market.
Starting, growing, and even shutting down projects is a privilege. You either deliver a desired outcome or you learn what not to do.
Either way, you win… which is why I decided to include both live and shut down projects.
Live Projects:
- Service Business: I help creators make money with their newsletters. In 5 years, I have worked with 30+ newsletters including creators like Dr Pal and Aadit Sheth. All of my work here.
- Cognition: I help creators make money with their newsletters. Yes, the same thing but as content not services.
- CognitionX: I run an exclusive, premium community for marketers. Inside we discuss newsletter growth, content marketing, and AI.
- Caffeineletter: My friend Aravind and I help home brewers brew café-like coffee at home
- Vikra’s Café: I share the best content I consume every month. You can also find its content on this website.

Shut Down Projects:
- r/newsletterhub SubReddit: A space for newsletter operators, service providers, and tool builders to hang out. The returns were not as promising as I expected.
- Blog: Started as a fun vibe coding project. Months later, I realised the entire blog could be a tag on Cognition.
- NewsletterHub: Directory for you to discover newsletters. The ROI wasn’t great for my current scale.
- Dopeletters: Private, six-week cohort for creators to start and grow their newsletters from 0-500 subscribers. Shut it down after two batches because I didn’t want to exchange my time.
